Pit Bull rescue Arizona

Pit Bull Rescue Arizona

A heart beat, at my feet.~ Edith Wharton

Currently Adopt-A-Bull is not taking in any dogs into our program. We are focusing on breed education and spay and neuter efforts in our area, as we feel these are VERY important. Our Bullies are in great danger as breed bans are popping up all around us. Everyday there is a new city that has decided to ban our dogs. Through our education hopefully we can help communities see the true bulldog and better alternatives to banning certain breeds. Adopt-A-Bull is a group of people that are dedicated to showing the public the true bully dog. With that said these are definitely not the breeds for everyone. They take a strong owner that will not let their dogs down and will keep them out of trouble.

We rescue all of our dogs from shelters or off the streets and due to a lack of foster homes and time we can not take owner turn ins. There are hundreds of thousands of bully breed dogs being put down in our country every day because of the lack of responsible homes and we are committed to saving as many as we can. We will however help in placing your dog if you can no longer care for it by posting a picture of your dog on our sites. We will require that all "placement assistance" dogs show us proof of sterilization and being up to date on all vaccinations PRIOR to us posting them on the sites. Before you make that final decision to give up your dog please read this and realize the reality of your bully dog finding the right home.

ADOPTING A DOG Adopting a new dog is a process that takes a lot of thought and consideration. Research needs to be done on the breeds you are considering in relation with your lifestyle/household. We require an application, personal reference and a home check. Absolutely no exceptions will be made in regards to the home check. An adoption fee of at least $120 will be made with every adoption. Adoption fees may be higher based on the medical needs/care the dog required. Our dogs are ALWAYS spayed/neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on their vaccinations and will be micro chipped.
